Here at AtlanTIC - Atlantic Tree Improvement Council, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2020, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.
Our Mission
To realize the economic and environmental benefits of tree improvement in Atlantic Canada through collaborative breeding, field testing, resource sharing, and research
Activities

Pan-Atlantic coordination of tree breeding, research trials and germplasm collections

Development and execution of long-term, strategic plan for tree improvement in the region

Promoting collaboration between researchers and optimization of research infrastructure and equipment

Transfer and translation of new discoveries to members
